Four arrested following alleged assault in Ranelagh

Gardaí have arrested four people following an alleged assault in Ranelagh, Dublin 6, on Wednesday.
The incident happened shortly before 1:30 pm on September 2, with Gardaí and emergency services attending the scene.
A man was taken to hospital following the incident. His injuries are understood to be non life threatening.
The incident took place at a SPAR convenience store near the Triangle in Ranelagh, where the entrance was later cordoned off while Gardaí examined the scene.
The four people arrested remain detained at Garda stations in the Dublin Metropolitan Region.
Gardaí are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the alleged assault.
