Katie Taylor has won her final professional fight, defeating Flora Pili by unanimous decision at Croke Park in front of 83,000 fans.

The Bray boxer brought the curtain down on her remarkable career on Saturday night, winning her final fight on home soil in front of a huge Dublin crowd.

Taylor faced unbeaten French fighter Flora Pili in a fight for the undisputed super lightweight world championship.

The victory gives Taylor a winning end to her professional career after almost a decade at the top of boxing.

Taylor finishes career with victory

Taylor entered the fight with a professional record of 25 wins and one defeat, while Pili was unbeaten in her 12 professional fights.

Taylor won by unanimous decision, with the judges scoring the fight 100–90, 100–90 and 98–91 in her favour.

The 40 year old had already become undisputed champion at lightweight and super lightweight during her career and was looking to add the vacant WBC title to her existing WBA, WBO and IBF belts.

With victory over Pili, Taylor finishes her career as a three time undisputed world champion.

Her final professional record is 26 wins and one defeat, while Pili finishes with a record of 12 wins and one defeat.

A historic night at Croke Park

The fight marked Taylor's long awaited appearance at Croke Park, a venue she had spoken about wanting to fight at throughout her career.

A crowd of 83,000 fans attended the event, which was the first professional boxing event at Croke Park since Muhammad Ali faced Alvin “Blue” Lewis in 1972.

The night also marked the end of one of the most successful careers in Irish sporting history.

Taylor won Olympic gold at London 2012 before turning professional in 2016 and becoming a world champion across multiple weight divisions.

Her only professional defeat before tonight came against Chantelle Cameron in 2023, before Taylor avenged that loss later the same year. She also defeated Amanda Serrano twice during her career.

One final night for Katie Taylor

Taylor's final fight took place on home soil, in front of a sold out Croke Park and thousands of fans who had come to witness the closing chapter of her career.

After years of success in the amateur and professional ranks, Taylor can now walk away from boxing as a three time undisputed world champion.

For Irish boxing, it marks the end of an era.

One final fight. One final victory. Katie Taylor bows out at Croke Park.
