Aviva Stadium

Leinster Rugby will return to the Aviva Stadium later this year for their United Rugby Championship meeting with Munster.

The provincial rivals will meet on Saturday, 24 October, with the match scheduled to kick off at 6pm.

The game will be one of Leinster's home fixtures during the 2026/27 URC season, but it will be played away from their redeveloped home at the Laya Arena.

Leinster return to the RDS

Leinster are returning to the RDS, now known as the Laya Arena, following a two year redevelopment of the venue.

Their first competitive home match there this season is against Cardiff on 10 October.

However, just two weeks later, Leinster will move to the Aviva Stadium for the meeting with Munster.

The fixture is expected to be one of the major games of the early URC season, with the two provinces meeting in Dublin during the October Bank Holiday weekend.

Back at the Aviva

Leinster played the majority of their home matches at the Aviva Stadium during the redevelopment of the RDS.

The move back to the Aviva for the Munster fixture gives the province another opportunity to stage the interprovincial derby at the larger Dublin venue.

Tickets for the match are due to go on sale on Friday, 11 September at 10am
